  Sensor Dynamics started building quality heart rate monitors since 1992 in the heart of the Silicon Valley (Fremont, California). Knowing heart rate monitor prices were kept artificially high for corporate glamour and profits, we quietly plowed into medical applications so that people who have needs in Cardiac Rehab, Weight Management, and Stress Management can afford quality heart rate monitors to improve the quality of their lives. We have made significant contribution to the industry that brought awareness and expectation to the masses.

Most recently, after cutting its entry-level pricing about 25% to match our offerings, our major competitor was cited saying, "We have done focus groups and the perceived value isn’t that high. There is a price sensitivity out there." The industry has finally realized that we should bring more people to the category by offering the right products at the right prices. At Sensor Dynamics, we believe that imitation is the highest form of flattery.

In addition to heart rate monitors, we offer consoles, RF and contact pulse receiver boards for exercise equipment. With products on the market since 1979, we are experienced in designing, manufacturing microprocessor-based electronics with heart rate related functions. We provide complete turnkey solutions to heart rate monitoring and controls from sensors to DSP receivers to sub-systems for resistance, not just bits and pieces of the technology.
